Who is this for?
Plumbers and heating firms who need the phone ringing now, not in six months. Or who tried Google Ads before and got burnt.
We hear things like:
- "I spent a small fortune last month and got two calls, one of them a student wanting work experience."
- "My nephew set the ads up. I do not know what they are doing, but they are doing it every day."
- "The ads send people to my home page and they never ring."
- "I want boiler installs in Essex, not leak call-outs in Zone 1."
What do you get?
Campaigns built around your jobs:
separate campaigns for emergency call-outs, boiler installs, bathrooms or whatever you want more of, each with its own budget.
Landing pages built for the ad:
one focused page per campaign, with your number big, a short form and the trust signals that matter for that job.
Call and form tracking:
we connect Google Ads to calls and enquiries so you can see what produced work, not just clicks.
Negative keyword lists:
jobs, apprenticeships, salaries, courses, DIY, "how to" and other money-wasting searches blocked from day one.
Schedule and area control:
ads shown only in the postcodes and hours you want, with bids raised for evenings or weekends if that is when your best jobs come in.
Ad spend paid direct to Google:
your card, your account, your data, and no percentage taken by us.
What does a click actually cost a plumber?
More than you might think. Google Ads bid data from DataforSEO (UK, October 2026) shows:
boiler installation leads
£63.30
plumbing leads
£32.53
boiler leads
£26.90
Those are the terms lead sellers bid on to find customers they can resell. Homeowner searches like "boiler repair" in your area will have their own price, which we check before quoting. The point is simple: clicks are expensive, so every one of them needs to land somewhere that makes it easy to ring you.
Local Services Ads or Search ads?
Google runs two kinds of ad that a plumber might use.
What are Local Services Ads?
Local Services Ads charge per lead rather than per click, and show a verified badge above normal results. Google states that they are available only for certain service categories, and those categories differ by country. Before recommending them, we check in Google's own sign-up tool whether your business and area can join, as of the date we quote. If they are open to you, they can sit alongside Search ads rather than replace them.
What are Search ads?
Search ads are the text ads that appear at the top of normal Google results. You choose the searches, the wording, the areas and the budget, and you pay when someone clicks. They are the most controllable option, which is why most of our campaigns start here.
What rules do plumbing ads need to follow?
Ads are covered by the CAP Code, which says marketing must not mislead. That matters for claims like "fastest in London", "24/7" or "cheapest boiler installs". We know the CAP Code and Google's advertising policies and write your ads with them in mind. You remain responsible for the claims your ads make, so we only use statements you can back up.
What does a good plumbing ad look like?
It mirrors the search. Someone typing "leaking radiator valve Hornchurch" should see an ad that mentions radiator repairs and Hornchurch, not a generic "all plumbing work undertaken".
The best ads also carry a reason to pick you over the three above and below. That could be your genuine review rating, same-week boiler installs, fixed-price servicing or free written quotes, as long as it is true. Extensions add your call button, service links and location, so the ad takes up more room on a phone screen.
How does it work?
- Check the numbers: we look at search demand and costs for your jobs and areas, and suggest a starting budget.
- Fixed quote: management fee, setup fee and suggested spend set out in writing within one working day, held for seven days.
- Build: campaigns, negative keywords, tracking and landing pages built and checked before anything goes live.
- Run and refine: we watch search terms weekly, cut waste, test new ads and report calls and enquiries every month.

Frequently asked questions
How much should a plumber spend on Google Ads?
Enough to get a fair test in your area, which depends on how many towns and jobs you target. We suggest a starting budget in your quote and you set the limit, paid straight to Google.
Do you take a cut of my ad spend?
No. Your ad spend goes directly from your card to Google, never through us and never marked up. Our management fee is separate and fixed.
What are Local Services Ads?
They are Google's pay-per-lead ads with a badge, shown above normal search ads in some countries and trades. Availability changes, so we check Google's own sign-up tool for your business before recommending them.
Why do I need a separate landing page for ads?
Because a visitor who searched for boiler repair should land on a page about boiler repair. Sending paid clicks to your home page makes people hunt, and many simply go back and click a rival.
What are negative keywords?
They are words that stop your ad showing for searches you do not want. Terms like jobs, apprenticeship, salary, course and DIY keep job hunters and tinkerers from spending your budget.
Can you track which ads made my phone ring?
Yes. We set up call tracking and form tracking so you can see which campaigns and searches turned into enquiries, rather than just clicks.
How soon will Google Ads bring calls?
Ads can start showing within days of going live. The first weeks are about learning which searches convert, so judge the results over a sensible test period rather than day one.
